Can I still submit rebate form?
Sorry but the rebate period has already ended.
Before and after – 22+ year old redwood deck, stripped and applied 1500 redwood stain. Very happy with the results!
I just downloaded 2 photos with my rebate form but when I tried to view them on my laptop, they looked horrible. I don’t know what happened.. please let me know on your end.
Thanls
I am sure they will be fine.
If we don’t submit a photo with each and every rebate form, do we still get a rebate? And if we have a lot we have submitted, how do we know which photos we need to submit?
$40 is the max rebate so only 10 Gallons from your rebate forms will count. Thanks
TWP 1500 Series – Great Product – Pecan 1520- Color Perfect
TWP 1500 Natural on a 32 year old PT deck that had been repaired, stained and neglected over time. Stripped, Brightened and gave all the horizontals the wet on wet. Finding 4 dry days in a row in Maine was a struggle. Had to wait 10 days after the initial prep to allow for drying and clear weather to come after applying the stain. Use a pad! Very pleased with the results.
TWP 100 Rustic after a full strip, sand and brighten project on our deck. Very happy with the outcome.
Missed my favorite one
Though I really love the look of the rails, every time I have to clean them, I remember how much of a pain they are to clean.
TWP 100-Redwood
Redwood substrate
Used 103 Dark Oak on my split rail fence. Turned out lighter than the color swatch online but I actually prefer it! Great product and fast shipping. We are very satisfied!
Looks great!
Wow that looks beautiful! I wished I would have used dark oak instead of the rustic oak. Next time 🙂 Gorgeous fence!
Looks great. How did you apply stain to the side with the wire fence attached?I have the same setup and have wondered about the best way to apply stain. Brush or sprayer.
I used an airless sprayer and went behind with a brush to clean up any runs. Depending how much fence you have a brush by itself would take forever!
I have to wait until the 4 months recommended drying time to apply. I decided to get the cleaner/brightener kit, too to make sure it looks right. Deck was installed mid July 2018.
Can I receive a rebate if I purchased the product at the store?
Sorry but no. Online only from this website.
1502 on a cedar fence.

Here are my 2 pictures for the rebate! Your upload button does not work!
It rained too close to application and some of the stain has been displaced, is there anything I can do about it now? am I in a bad situation for where its displaced?
It should be fine until you redo.
What can be done about the oversanded area that wont absorb?
Lightly wipe off the excess stain with a rag and mineral spirits. Saturate all oily rags in water and lay flat to dry outside.
Wipe off stain? With cloth and spirits? What will that do? There is no wet stain it looks white
Sorry, thought you said the stain was wet. Not sure if there is anything you can do this year. If it cannot soak in, there is no way to force it in this year but natural weathering should help over the next year to allow it in when you redo.
It took 2 years for my cedar fence to dry and gray! It even says on the can to wait until your fence grays! It looks beautiful now and this stain from TWP is fantastic!
Hi, I was just told that the lighter area of stain was done while shaded, the redder was done in sun. Instructions are so very important. Can I sand and go darker next year for even color? See my other 2 posts.
You can use the Gemini Restore Kit for the prep and apply a darker color next year. Just one coat.
This is bare, before
I had a painter stain my deck with 1500 honey tone but even after much research and explaining to him the how to’s I think he still had an issue. The deck looked half stained, a picture was taken and he is now adding stain. Am I going to be ok? I’m not worried but am concerned
You should be okay.
What is the self life of TWP 100? (Opened and unopened container)?
See this: https://www.twpstainhelp.com/shelf-life-of-twp/
Just uploaded rebate form and realized auto fill didn’t enter state and zip. Do I need to redo the form?
No need.
Something isn’t quite adding up. Rebate ends July 31, must submit in 90 day and no new claims after August 31. but July 31+ 90 days ≠ August 31.
8-31-18 is the deadline to submit. If you do not have the pictures, please submit anyhow and we will honor the rebate.
Just a concern. Last week I applied for the rebate on 10 gals. of twp 100 pecan color, that I purchased on May 7th I believe.
How long do you keep the credit card numbers on file? Thanks, great product.
Tom Lykowski
We personally never see credit cards or keep them on file. The CC merchant processing company handles all this and they are one of the largest in the world.
Two pictures of the re-stained deck and one after a rain 4 days later. Great Product!!
Great Product. Third time I am using. Love the Cedartone 1501. Raining 4 days after application and beading up like a new waxed car!! Thanks Joe P
Just submitted rebate form with order number. Hope that was OK. Loving my newly stained deck!
I have just finished my deck with TWP200 Slate Gray. The deck was 420 sq.ft. and I purchased 5 gallons, as per your calculator. I applied two coats wet on wet and when finished I still had a half pail of stain left over. I am a little concerned that I didn’t apply it properly. What do you think?
It looks great! Coverage does vary based on the wood type and age of the wood.
The color is a little darker than we thought. Is there any way to lighten the color?
Sorry but no. You would have to remove fully and then apply a lighter color.
Not on this form it does not.
I just uploaded my rebate form and photos. Only after I sent it did I realize that “order Number” and “Invoice number” are not the same. I put the order number on the rebate form. Will that be sufficient or do you need the actual Invoice Number?
All set.
I have some left over mixed cleaner solution. what is the best way to store so I can use it in month or 2?
Once mixed, the Cleaner is only active for a few hours. The Brightener will last indefinitely.
Gemini cleaner
I bought my stain at Dunn Lumber in Seattle. Can I still qualify for the rebate?
Thank you.
Sorry but no. Only online from this website.
I just rebuilt my deck and will need to wait the recommended months to dry before cleaning and staining. If I purchase the kit now, there will be now way to submit rebate with pictures until after august. Is there a way to still submit for rebate in this case?
Yes, just submit and leave this note in the comments.
You will need to fill out and then call our office with the new CC#.
Thank you. I’ve submitted the rebate form. What phone number do I use to contact your office?
866-856-3325
What verification is there that you received my rebate and two pictures? I have not received anything back by email.
Hello,
Rebates will be applied in the form of a credit applied to the credit card or PayPal used for original purchase at TWPStain.com. Rebates can take up to 2 weeks after submittal, using the form below.
Is the rebate available for sales to Canada? Are the photos mandatory?
Only the TWP 200 Series is allowed in Canada. If you buy from this website and have it shipped to Canada, then yes it qualifies.
Are photos mandatory? Our contractor will not be working on our deck for a while.
No but you have until August 31st to submit.
i have a small deck that i have ready to prep and stain. i am also going to be putting in another larger deck in the back that is not yet built so wont be staining for while. also considering they both will eventually need refinished, how long will a bucket of stain last once it is opened? should i get a single gallon which would be enough for a couple coats on small deck know or a larger bucket that i can keep around for future use?
See this for tips: https://www.twpstainhelp.com/shelf-life-of-twp/
Do we get a rebate if we bought it from a store and not on web site thanks

I just built a new deck with Port Orford Cedar on 05-22-2018 – how long should I wait before I coat it with your TWP -100 or 1500 ?

Hi, your website says $20 off rebate on TWP 100 Series 5 gallon deck stain. https://www.twpstain.com/twp-100-series-5-gallon I just purchased, however, I don’t see the online rebate form for the $20 rebate. I only see the $4 rebate for gallons. Thanks.
Please read above. It states $4 per gallon. If you bought 5 gallons, that equals $20. Once you have your completed photos, please submit the form with the photos to claim the $20.
Hi Chris, yes if you have a promo code you can use that and still get a $4 gallon rebate later. FYI, we only offer the promo codes to past customers, not everyone. We do not advertise the 5% off to the general public so this comment will be removed once you reply back. Thanks
