I brought TWP 100 series stains to stain a deck. Reading the label it says there is no UV protectant on it. I am concerned on the impact it will have on the overall quality of the staining. Does the TWP 1500 series have UV protectant?
The “Clear” in the 100 and 1500 Series will not have UV protection. All the rest of the TWP tinted colors will have UV protection.

What would be the best way to apply twp 100 pecan semi-transparent to a deck? I have access to all applying methods. (hand pump, airless sprayer, brush, etc.) What method produces optimal results?

Why do you still carry 100 as a separate product if 1500 is supposed to perform the same and can be sold everywhere? I feel like the higher solvents in 100 enable it to penetrate deeper and perform better?
Most states still allow the 100 series and past customers have used it for many years. Plus the colors are not exactly the same between series.
What product would be best for a cedar deck that needs to be stripped and redone? It is a pool deck.

Is your product capable of sealing or treating raw cypress that’s only been dried? I have a mill nearby and have bought cypress for interior use previously. I would like to use some for exterior board and Batton.

Hello. This is my cedar siding 6 years after only one coat of twp stain. After power wash still look great. I do not wanna apply additional coat of stain so its not gonna get darker. Will do just Touch ups but need some clear coat to apply over existing stain. What would you recommend ? Thank you
You cannot apply a clear coat over the TWP. Just leave it alone for now and reapply the stain when it starts to fade.

How much 1501 stain will I need for 1000 square foot deck and stains, pine treated wood over year old. This is a maintenance coat. I prepped with RAD. Thanks! Could you send paint stir sticks with cans? Can I buy TWP locally in Chicago?
About 7-8 gallons. We sell only online. We do not have stir sticks to send. The best way to mix is with a 5-gallon paddle mixer that goes on a drill. You can get those at any paint store.
Can I use TWP on a #2 treated pine walkway that I am building? All new wood. How much will I need? I will use treated 2X6s. Dimensions are 4′ wide by 30′ long.

Can I use TWP Wood preservative on picnic table and bench?
Yes, as long as the wood is clean and free of any previous coatings.
Do you have a neutral sealer and preservative? I love the color of my deck and do not want to lighten or darken the color.
What you would like to do is not possible. A clear with no pigment will not protect from UV graying. You must have a tint/clear in the stain to prevent the graying.
So, what do you recommend to keep it as natural as possible?
Honeytone is the lightest tinted color with UV protection.
