TWP 1500 is a Semi-transparent Oil-Based wood stain and preservative that is allowed in all 50 states.

The new TWP® 1500 formula is designed to penetrate better, dry faster and outperform the previous TWP® 500 series formula.

TWP® 1500 Series is an EPA registered wood preservative which prevents structural damage and wood decay on exterior above ground wood surfaces such as fencing, decking, wood siding, log homes, and roofing. TWP® 1500 Series resists water absorption that causes warping, cracking and splitting as well as preventing freeze damage in colder climates.

TWP® 1500 Series is a low VOC preservative with special U.V. absorbing pigments that prevent unsightly wood graying, darkening and fading. The selected mildewcides inhibit the growth of mold and mildew which assist in preventing premature discoloration.

TWP® 1500 Series will keep your wood beautiful, fresh and looking new longer. The ease of application and maintenance will allow you to enjoy your investment for years to come.

I'd like to use the 1500 series redwood stain on my 16'x16' pavilion. It's made from large cedar timbers. it's a fairly open structure with tin roof. I'm assuming the deck stain is the way to go. It's been a year since constructed.

Yes, the TWP 1500 is the correct product for this.

I'm looking for TWP - LIGHT CEDAR - 250 UV for my bamboo fence. Backyard X-Scapes has it, but I have a coupon for you guys. And I prefer to buy it from you.

For bamboo, you would want the 300 Series and we do not offer that series.

Did not see that Clear was still available per my e-mail just send. Can I use Nature over the Clear instead in order to get UV coverage.

Clear is an option in the dropdown color choices above. You can use the Natural as long as you prep with the Gemini Restore Kit.

Last year I brought two gallons of TWP 1500 Clear, with approximately 1/2 gallon still in the can well sealed. Can I still use it? Also is Clear still available and if so how much does it cost to ship just one gallons to St. Augustine Florida. Thanks.

What is the shelf life of the 5 gallon 1500? I am looking to stain a new deck this year and apply a maintenance coat next year. Plan was to buy the 5 gallon and use for both applications.

I have a house with redwood siding in Waco, Texas area. The house was built in 1989 and is in good condition. Which would be the better stain the 100 or 1500?

For siding, use the TWP 1500.

    Tommy Topper:
My deck is around 9 months old and 3/4ths of it is covered. The uncovered section has greyed more vs. the covered section. Any tips to staining? I'm worried covered and non covered sections won't match.

Prepping with the Gemini Restore Kit will help to remove the graying and even out the surface for the staining.
