I'm very satisfied with my result, after many days of research I found this product which I did not know that existed. Easy to apply, used garden pump and a dollar brush.

    1) Fence is new, pressure treated pine, installed in October. I'm considering using TWP100-Cedar color. If I do this, I won't have to strip the coating if I continue to recoat with TWP100, correct?

    2) I was expecting the samples to come in professional packaging but were in simple plastic containers with label-maker-made labels. Are the 1 and 5 gallon containers that you ship professionally packed and sealed in the commercial packaging?

    Thanks,
    Brian

    1. Yes for most scenarios.
    2. Yes they are metal containers in manufacturer packaging.

I have a pressure treated deck coming up on one year old this June. I am ordering pecan twp100. I like the colour it is on the already greying wood (tested), but not on a fresher greener scrap pc I tried. If I use a cleaner/brightener now will the finished stained wood look a different colour cleaned vs uncleaned? I guess what I am asking is will the restore a deck kit bring out the green pressure treat colour again? Also do I need to use restore-a-deck or can I go with a big box brand?

You should use the Gemini Kit for prep. The kit does not bring out the green but restores the wood to it's natural color. If your wood is green internally then there is nothing you can do about that.

Yes but read this first about new wood:

Does this include kiln dried hand stripped logs ?

Kiln dried needs about a month then prep with Gemini Kit.

I'm thinking clear but I see the "no UV" comment - please help me evaluate that.

Does the 100-200 ft^2 per gallon estimated coverage include the 2 coats "wet on wet" or is only for a single coat. I am planning on using a pump sprayer for application, backrolling, then spray 2nd coat.

150-200 for first coat and 200-300 for the second coat. Best to not spray second coat but use stain brush or pad.
