TWP Stain Near MeWhen it comes to quality wood deck stains one brand that comes to mind is TWP (Total Wood Preservative). This number one rated wood stain is an EPA registered wood preservative. It is blended for superb longevity on vertical and horizontal exterior wood surfaces. This long lasting professional grade wood deck stain is easy to find on the Internet. A simple search of TWP wood deck stain near me will result in finding a TWP authorized online dealer. This is an excellent way to buy TWP over trying to find it locally.

We are now shipping TWP 200 Series in 5 gallon Pails to Canada!

An authorized dealer can offer free shipping and excellent customer support. TWP wood deck stain near me can literally be anywhere no matter where you live because TWP 1500 series is a low 250 VOC formula that is compliant in all 50 states and now in Canada. This special blend of wood deck stain utilizes special UV absorbing pigments that eliminate wood fading and graying. The chosen mildewcides effortlessly hinder fungal growth, which can cause color darkening. TWP sheds water to reduce unwanted moisture absorption that causes board splitting, cracking and warping. This also helps to prevent costly structural harm caused by freeze damage in colder climate regions.

Some local stores that may carry TWP will not always have all the TWP colors available or in stock. When you find TWP wood deck stain online you will have all the TWP colors to choose from in a semi-transparent oil based finish. TWP deck stain helps preserve the wood, enhances natural beauty, and aids in color retention. TWP wood deck stain applies easily for an even warm, professional-looking finish. Stop wood rot, decay, graying, and mildew infiltration with TWP 100, 200, or 1500 series stain formulas. All of these stain series blends can be found online and shipped to your front door no matter where you live in the US or Canada.

I have a 5 year old deck made with apparently 'new growth' cedar. We have had it stained by professional---great ratings, yet the stain does not stay too long---less than a year. It is not peeling off, yet it dissapears in places. The company who stained it told me that he believes it it the type of cedar used.
We live in San Antonio, TX. Parts of the deck get hot sun.
What do you suggest for a stain, that is natural in color, and will last more than 2 years.

    And, how best to apply?

    Deck installed 3 weeks ago.
    Pre-treated pine boards.

How long to wait before staining ? Do now or edit until spring ?

Live in Arkansas and the deck extends over the lake.
Full southern sun exposure all day long.

Which stain series should I order for the above?

    Thank you

We have a cedar shake house with large decking in Georgia 50 miles north of Atlanta. It was built in 2007 and we have used TWP101 Cedar Tone Natural. The back side of the house and large rear deck gets afternoon sun. We have had to retreat the house twice and the deck 3 times. It is coming up due for another redo. Do you have any recommendations that could enable us to get a longer life span out of the staining?

      Hello,

There is not a way to extend the life or a TWP product that will last any longer than the 100 Series that you are using. Doing the deck every 3 years and the house every 5 years is excellent longevity and no other stain on the market will last longer.

My deck is in Louisiana and on the lake which has brackish water. Lots of exposure to the sun. Pressure treated pine installed approximately 6 months ago. What product would you recommend?

    Colette:
I read on one site that TWP 100 was good for decks. I also saw that TWP 200 was not particularly recommended for decks. My husband likes the California Cedar color. Which stain would you recommend as best for decks (in Texas)? Thank very much!

Use the TWP 100 Series for decks in TX.

Can TWP 100 and TWP 1500 be mixed together?

No, they should not. Best to intermix in the same series.
