TWP 1500 and100 (Series) Stain Coupon Codes, Discounts, and Promo Codes
Applying TWP stain to any wood deck or other exterior wood surface will help safeguard against rot, decay, and UV discoloration. Knowing TWP Total Wood Preservative is a quality product gives homeowners a peace of mind. After all, deck maintenance is not cheap, but it is one of those evil necessities that will save you money in the long run. Neglecting an exterior wood surface can lead to premature failure and structural concerns.
Finding a quality stain like TWP at a discount would be great. But are there TWP Stain coupon codes available? TWP manufacturers and their authorized dealers do not offer online stain coupon codes. If you do find any coupon codes available, it is likely from an unauthorized dealer and the product’s performance cannot be guaranteed.
To get the best price available, buy only from an authorized TWP dealer. TWPstain.com is the official authorized online dealer for Gemini Coatings. Gemini is the largest manufacturer of the TWP stain line. TWPstain.com offers the best price on quality TWP series wood stains and sealers. Their TWP stain pricing cannot be beat by any other website.
Although there are no TWP stain coupon codes, if you sign up for the TWPstain.com newsletter you will receive periodic coupons, product tips, and info. Buying from an authorized dealer will ensure the best price without coupon codes. It also helps knowing that an authorized dealer will stand by the product and help answer any questions or concerns you may have during your staining project.
In Northern Virginia, we have a newly installed Cedar Fence with PT Pine posts. I want to apply a cedar color, semi-transparen t stain, while maintaining the natural wood grain look. Do you recommend 100 or 1500 series?? Which color is best for cedar?
My redwood decks in CA have needed TWP every 2 to 3 years due to lots of sun. It’s time to re coat again. 1500 seems to be the one for decks but I saw in blog below you recommended an Austin TX deck owner to use 100. Please advise if I should use 1500 or one of your other products. I noticed the 200 has 94% solids but could not find that info on 1500.
You cannot use the 100 Series in CA, only the 1500. 200 Series is the shakes and shingles. You are using the correct product.

Use the 100 series for this.

For two coats you will need roughly 10-15 gallons. It varies on the application and how dried out the wood is. Make sure to prep well first with the Gemini Restore Kit.

We currently do not have any coupons. Coverage for the TWP is about 150-200 sq. feet for the first coat. If doing a second coat, then that will apply at 200-300 sq feet per gallon. There is a calculator to the right that will help.

With kiln dried you need to wait about a month and prep first with the Gemini Restore Kit. This will remove the mill glaze from the wood.
