Is Twp pro 116 Rustic the exact same thing as Twp 116 Rustic? We have always used the Pro version on our deck.
Yes.
Is TWP 101 Pro Series Cedar Tone the same as TWP 101 Cedar Tone Natural?
Yes.
The State of Michigan now has a VOC limit of 250 grams per liter for stains. Does TWP 101 Pro Series Cedar Tone meet this requirement?
No, you now have to use the TWP 1500 Series in MI.
What color code in the TWP 1500 Series is a comparable color to TWP 101 Cedar Tone Natural?
TWP 1530 Natural.
TWP 100 on treated pine that has cured. One coat or two. If two, how long between coats. Thanks
New wood? See here if so:

I don’t see the difference in 100 and 100 pro series?
That’s because they are the same thing besides a label change as the article explains.
What is the difference between TWP 101-5 and TWP 101. If it makes a difference this is the Cedartone
The “-5”just means the size of 5 gallons.
How do you use this on a log cabin.
Same aa a deck or any wood surface. Directions are on the website. http://Www.twpstainhelp.com
which of the two, 100 or 1500 is best for single application. can they both be used for single application
Both are 2 coat applications applied wet on wet unless it is new wood.
Does the 100 series have us protection
Yes.
We live in Michigan and have a 20 year old deck that’s been power washed and stained every 2 to 3 years.
It was stained 3 years ago using cedar tone 100. The flooring is pressure treated wood but the railings, skirting and other trim is cedar. The stair treads are pressure treated wood trimmed in cedar. We are trying to decide between the cedar tone 100 and 500. We also need a recommendation for cleaning and prepping. Finally, we are not sure how many gallons of stain and cleaner we need to order. We’ve always paid a company to do the job, but are planning to tackle it ourselves this year.
We have the following measurements:
Flooring: 44 ft x 43 ft
Railing: 96ft x 5.5”
Steps: 2 at 53” x13”
10 at 48” x13”
2 at 49” x 13
We also have a gate (see picture)
We aren’t sure how to calculate for the skirting, which is all cedar.
Use this for amount needed: https://www.twpstain.com/twp-deck-stain-calculator
Use the TWP 100 Series. Prep with the Gemini Restore Kit.
Can I use TWP 100 Pro on a cedar deck?
Yes.
What is ultraviolet screening ? I plan to use 100 pro clear 100 without ultraviolet screening. In summer sun is deck floor hotter with or without ultraviolet screening
Not sure what you mean by UV “screening”. The TWP 100 Clear has no pigment which means it will not protect from UV oxidation/graying. It must be tinted if you want to protect it from this.
Is it ok to apply when temperature is above 50 but over night falls into the 40ies .
Yes but it cannot drop below freezing the first night.

See this about new wood: https://www.twpstainhelp.com/prepping-new-wood-for-twp-stains/
I have a pergola that I was built about 3 months ago and now I was t to stain. Do I need to power wash or is it good to go. I’m in Charlotte NC and I’m thinking of using 100 Walnut. It’s going on weather treated pine.
Obviously I need to restain. I believe it was previously stained with a mix of 101 cedar tone natural and 116 rustic oak. My question is how was the almost solid look come about when a Semi transParent stain was used?
That is not a solid stain look but it was way over applied and dried on top of the wood. You will need to remove all down to the bare wood when prepping before recoating. Strip and sand to remove all and then brighten the wood.
I have almost 1500 sq feet with a redwood deck and a fir deck. How many gallons are required for two coats?
About 15 gallons.
Good Afternoon
i just had my deck power washed today. I need a grey solid color ? do you carry that ?
Thank you ,
Michele
Sorry but we do not.
Good afternoon,
I am using the TWP product for the first time. This deck was previously stained with a TWP product . Looks like a solid stain to me. After a thorough power washing and proper drying what product do you recommend to re coat with ? 100 or 1500?? The color is Dark Oak. Should it be completed using the Wet in Wet method? Thank you
TWP does not come in a solid stain. Send pictures.
If i don’t use all of the 5 gallon can, how long will it keep if sealed?
12 months of opened.
What happens if it rains within 24 hours after application
The Twp cedartone natural is TWP100
TWP 101 cedartone is the same as cedartone natural.
I need one gallon of TWP Cedartone Natural
I have a gallon of 1501 cedar tone and a gallon of 101 cedar tone. Can I mix them?
Yes.
