Bug Juice For 5 Gallon of Stain

$44.99
Back to: Brushes and Stain Pads

This container is added to 5 Gallon of Deck Stain

Bug-Juice is a remarkable insecticide paint additive. It can be added to deck stains. Once applied to the surface and let dry, bugs that crawl on or land on the treated surface will die (within 3 – 5 hours).

  • Can be applied on exterior wood
  • Bug-Juice does not repel insects, it is a contact pesticide and it begins to work after an insect makes contact with the treated surface
  • Will not affect the color or drying time of the coating it is mixed with
  • Recommended that you hose off the treated surface with water twice a year, this provides a clean surface for insects to land on
  • Bug-Juice is odorless
  • Bug-Juice will continue to kill pests that land on or walk across the treated surface for a minimum of 2 years

Helps to prevent wood boring bees. According to the manufacturer, it is not toxic to pets or humans.

My son recently bought a cabin that the structure has been up and unfinished for a couple of years and we are finishing. Should we use the TWP 100 as well as the bug juice? And is bug juice effective with termites or just wood boring bees?

When added to your Twp 1500 series stain, will Bug Juice hurt animals? Our dog lays on the porch all summer long. How will it effect her?

    PeterM:
Would you recommend this product for a fence with small children around? I am assuming any touching by hands would need to be followed by hand washing? We have issues with wood-boaring bees but are hesitating due to safety concerns. Thanks!

This product is harmless to humans.
