I would like to use this for the outside logs on our log home. Do you recommend the honey-tone?

I have a new elevated screened porch that just sunk a bunch of money into I want to protect AND minimize maintenance.  The outside portion of the deck in Trex decking with wood rails and posts.

Idea 1: Do a solid stain (maybe white) on frame/posts/exterior to maximize protection and minimize things I don’t want to do on a ladder or pay for every 2 years.  And then stain the interior floor of screen porch/interior. Does that make good sense?

Idea 2: Stain everything with maybe a TWP.  What would be expectations for vertical posts and exterior of screen porch?

Thanks!

I’m looking for a light color as close to clear I can get. Does this give off an orange tone? I have tryed other brands natural and on my wood they look orange? Any subjections in a good shade?

Used 100 series Honeytone on steps with Rustic remaining portions of deck.  Wood needed a full 12-15 months to thoroughly dry out after installation.  Cleaner in prep kit removed “gummy” material from boards, followed by brightener.  Allowed 4 full sunny days to let wood dry then applied stain, wet-on-wet.  I tested a few small spots with a 3rd coat and the wood didn’t or was slow to take the stain so I stopped at the 2 coats.  Turned out fantastic and very pleased with results.
Applied a 60-grit high-visibility tape for added traction as we get plenty of rain and occasional ice and snow here in Louisville, KY.

Six months later there is a bit of fading on a few horizontal deck boards and I’m poised to give them  another coat this summer after another prep kit application.

I have a new rough cedar 4X4 post that is dry on the outside, but when I sawed some off to shorten it, it was moist on the inside. Can this be stained? ( it will be installed in a ground spike and used for a weather vane and to hang a planter and bird house.)

12mo old unstained pressure treated deck which is around a salt water above ground pool in NC.  I would like to keep the wood grain look. What do you recommend or how long for drying before it can be used for pool activities?

Thank you. Does this stain get slippery when it is wet?
About how long will it last before I have to re-apply?
It is in sun about 4-5 hrs a day.

For those of you who have experience with this product, which color would most closely match white oak with a tung oil finish? I can add a photo later if that would be helpful.

Is there a need to stain/ seal bottom side of the deck as well? If yes, does bottom side needs to be prep and brighten like the top side? If i need to do bottom side, can I use some different product there or just a sealer not stain?

The TWP 101 application requires 2 coats. It’s “wet on wet!” When I complete the 1st coat and immediately apply the 2nd required coat….won’t I make shoe prints on the 1st coat since I’m stepping on it?

Thanks! 2nd question is after a couple years I will need to reapply! If I use the same stain can I simply wet brush it clean, dry it thoroughly for a day or two and apply the stain…..and do I apply 2 coats again?

Has anyone used TWP 100 on wood furniture (eucalyptus)? We would like it to say it’s natural color as well?
