What does Gemini Solid-Strip do?

Gemini Solid-Strip is designed for industrial strength stripping.  It will remove heavy coated finishes and is ideal for solid color stains, water-based and latex paints.  Use Gemini Solid-Strip on decks, logs, or any wood surface that needs restoring.  (For 100% acrylic water-based products, use a conventional paint stripper)

Surface Preparation:

Easy 3 Step Application Process:

1. Pre-wet and cover the surrounding work area and vegetation to ensure no damage occurs.  Apply Solid-Strip liberally to wood surfaces (always test a small inconspicuous area to see if the desired result will be achieved).  Best application results are with a Deck Sprayer, although a brush or roller can also be used.

2. Solid-Strip should sit for a minimum of 15 minutes, however, do not allow product to dry.  After sitting you may begin to scrub.  When scrubbing applied area, use synthetic, stiff bristle brush (do not use a wire or natural bristle brush).

3. Rinse thoroughly with hose or pressure washer.  A pressure washer will show the best results, however, do not exceed 1000 P.S.I.

If not used properly a pressure washer may damage wood. Do not allow product to dry.  If stubborn areas persist, re-apply Solid-Strip and follow steps 2 and 3. Wood may darken after stripping.  Use Gemini’s Wood Brightener for Cedar and Redwood to revive color.

Coverage Rate: Approximately 100-200 square feet per gallon.
