I am interested in getting some heavy duty gloves for some work around the house. Are these the type of gloves that you can only use a few times or can they last a long time? Also do they protect against various different chemicals?

These are mostly gloves that you would use just a half dozen times then throw away. They are great for staining since they will prevent the stain from getting on your hands.
